The 2022 Honda Accord is a terrific car, and it’s a great buy if you’re shopping for an affordable family sedan. It has a spacious and premium interior with comfy seats, a user-friendly infotainment system, and lots of standard tech and safety features. It is fun to drive and athletic. The turbocharged engine lineup provides a great balance between performance and fuel economy. The Honda has a large trunk. We named the Accord our 2022 Best Midsize Car For the Money because of its exceptional combination of value and quality.

How Much Does It Cost to Insure a Honda Accord?

The cost of Honda Accord insurance will vary depending on many factors. These include your deductible, the level of coverage you need, and the type of insurance you choose. Insurance rates can also be affected by your age, gender and location.

Honda Accord vs. Honda Civic

The Honda Civic is a compact car, but it offers much of the midsize Accord’s appeal. The Civic has a premium cabin, an intuitive infotainment system, and a similarly wide array of standard safety features. It is lively and enjoyable to drive. The Civic’s greatest benefit is its price. The starting price of the Civic is $3,800 lower than that of the Accord, and it has better fuel economy. You can also choose between a sedan or a hatchback Civic. We recommend sticking with the Accord if you need a larger back seat. The Civic is an alternative that most shoppers prefer.

Engine Performance

The 2022 Honda Accord comes standard with a 192-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. A continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive are standard. The powertrain is perfect for daily driving and accelerates the Accord quickly off the line. It is easy to use and has quick responses, giving the car respectable highway passing power. For those who want more muscle, a 252-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder is available, and it comes paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
